Williams AV builds assistive listening products, and we want the tools around them to be usable by everyone too. We are committed to making the Infinium Design Estimator accessible to people with disabilities, and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a box to check.
Conformance status
The Infinium Design Estimator is partially conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the application do not yet fully conform to the standard. The known gaps are listed below.
Known limitations
- Floor-plan editor. The interactive editor — tracing walls and placing transmitters on a canvas — is not currently operable with a screen reader or by keyboard alone. We have not yet found a design for this kind of spatial drawing work that we are confident in. If you cannot use the editor, our free expert design service is the supported alternative: email techservices@williamsav.com with your floor plan and requirements and our team will prepare the coverage design for you.
- PDF reports. The coverage reports the estimator generates are not yet tagged for assistive technology. If you need a report in an accessible format, contact us and we will provide one.
